I am writing to thank you for the loan of the tens machine, which helped me during the long labour. I found that the tens machine helped me to remain in control during the contractions and working well with the entonox.
I discontinued using the tens when the birth pool became available. I feel that if it was not for the tens machine I would have had pethicline or an epidural.
Instead I had a natural delivery in the birth pool. I gave birth to a beutifal baby girl. I currently work as a midwife and I will be strongly advocating the tens machine to all mothers, as an effective method of pain relief especially during the early phase of labour, when you are at home. The tens machine helps you remain in control and helps with the pain.

I would just like to say thank you for dispatching my tens machine so quickly. What a great service! I only ordered it yesterday and it arrived this morning. I have never known such a fast dispatch that didn't cost anything! I really appreciate this as I had ordered a tens machine from another company a couple of weeks ago and it never arrived. I was also charged for it which makes it worse. This caused me a lot of anxiety as I am due my baby next week.

Just to let you know that the Elle TENS machine worked
really well for me – is was the only pain relief
I needed.
This was my first baby and the labour was really quick
– 7.5 hours from the first sign of any pains (which I initially thought was due to the pizza id
eaten the night before). After 4 hours I was sure that the pains were labour pains so I called my husband
from work. He helped me with the electrodes and the Elle TENS machine was in place by 12.50pm. We arrived
at the hospital at 1.30pm where my waters broke, I was told I was fully dilated and was rushed up to
the labour ward. Baby was born at 2.43pm, 6lb 10oz.
Seems a shame I didn’t get to use the Elle TENS more!

I felt that I must write and say what a great thing the machine is and that I would highly recommend it
to any woman about to go though child birth.
This is my first baby and I have decided to keep an open mind with regards to pain relief, starting with
the TENS machine and working my way up the ladder of pain killing options if I wished. In the end, all
I needed was the TENS machine using it from an hour into labour right though to the end, 13 1/2 hours
later. I used no other pain relief and as a result was mobile, lucid, and in control both during and
after my delivery. I must add though that the booster button became my best friend.
Thank you again for the hire of the TENS machine and I will definitely be hiring it again if there is a
second addition to our family in the future. Best wishes.
